MOT Testing

You are obliged to get an MOT certificate before the third anniversary of your vehicle’s registration, as well as annually from that point onwards.

Getting an MOT doesn’t have to be a last minute rush – you can get your MOT up to a month (minus a day) before its due date and keep the same renewal date.

Example: if your MOT due date is 1st June, you could get your MOT from 2nd May onwards and it would still be valid until 1st June the following year.
